Broncos gallop over Eagles

The Cal Poly men’s basketball team had an impressive opening to the CCAA Tournament with a 57-45 win over Cal State Los Angeles.

The Broncos advance to the semifinals of the tournament, to be held at Humboldt State on Friday. They are awaiting news of who their opponents will be.

The Broncos opened the scoring with a three-pointer from senior forward Austin Swift, and never gave the lead away.

Donnelle Booker had a big night with a team-high 13 points, seven rebounds and three assists.
