A motorcyclist was injured in a crash Sunday evening on Kellogg Drive. The rider, whose name was not released, collided with a white Ford Excursion around 6:30.

Samurai Alert

Cal Poly's Safety Alert system notified the campus community via text message, e-mail, and phone that a suspicious character was on campus with a Samurai sword on April 8, 2009. A few hours after the announcement, the investigation was concluded.
"University Police concluded their investigation of a suspicious person who was wearing all black and seen with a sword. Police confirmed that individual was NOT carrying a sword and is NOT a threat to the campus."
